Workshop.
Bespoke builds for the work that doesn't fit a platform. Single-use decision instruments, agent pipelines, ontologies, and the institutional infrastructure that lets a portfolio of use cases ship in parallel.
Workshop is the practice that ships. We build the tool, we instrument the tool, we hand the tool to the operator, we revise the tool while they use it. The point is a working instrument inside an institution, not a slide that promises one.
Practices
One use case, one team, one tool sharpened to the operator's hand. We build the thing the platform vendor told you to wait for, or the thing no platform vendor will ever build.
Plumbing that turns a manual judgment into an automated one. Boring on the surface; load-bearing once it runs. We treat the eval and the audit trail as first-class, not afterthoughts.
A shared eval harness, deployment lanes, model registry, cost telemetry — the substrate that lets a portfolio of use cases ship in parallel without each team rebuilding plumbing.
Operating instruments built to be lived in, not toured. The product is the daily driver; the AI lives inside it; the team forgets the AI is there because the workflow is clean.
How an engagement runs
Workshop engagements are scoped tours of duty — eight to sixteen weeks, one tool shipped, observability on from day one. We work in tight loops with the operator who will use the tool every day, not the executive who commissioned it.
